Abstract
Currently, the Chinese diaspora «huaqiao» is the most numerous one across the globe. It`s representatives live in 154 countries of the world. Since 1980, the moment when the opening-up policy was established, the administration of PRC has given an importance to the activity with diaspora, realizing such a high potential it has. The within the framework this article by the author are examined the role of «huaqiao» in the early stage of Chinese policy of openness.
